The Iceland water park comes as the first offering of WOW RAK, a 120 acre , complete family entertainment destination at Ras Al Khaimah, a fast developing emirate 45 mn north of Dubai. Wow RAK is planned to include the Ice land Water Park, an Amusement park, a Shopping Mall and 180 room mountain resort facilities.
Being developed as a family aquatic centre, spread over 100,000 sq metres, the venue has been designed as a family destination to be unique in its offering with a versatile segmental appeal to tap a wide range of age, life style and culture groups. The Water Park facilities are scheduled for opening in September of 2010.
With a day design capacity of 10,000 persons, the Ice Land Water Park would cater to the resident population as well as tourists both domestic and international.
